Accessibility Statement
Forward Konnect Consulting wants every visitor to be able to read, navigate and use this website, including people who rely on assistive technology. This statement describes the standard we work toward, the specific measures built into the site, the limitations we know about, and how to tell us when something does not work for you.
Our commitment
We aim for this website to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. Accessibility is treated as part of how the site is built and maintained, not a one-time audit: new pages and changes are checked against the same standard before they are published.
Measures on this site
The site is built with the following measures in place:
- Semantic structure. Pages use proper heading hierarchy and HTML landmarks (header, navigation, main content, footer) so screen reader users can understand and traverse each page's structure.
- Keyboard access. Navigation, the site search, forms and all interactive controls can be operated with a keyboard alone, in a logical tab order.
- Visible focus states. The element that has keyboard focus is clearly indicated at all times.
- Skip link. A "skip to main content" link lets keyboard and screen reader users bypass the navigation on every page.
- Text alternatives. Meaningful images carry descriptive alt text; decorative images are marked so assistive technology can skip them.
- Color and contrast. Text and interface colors are chosen to meet WCAG contrast requirements, and color is never the only means of conveying information.
- Reduced motion. The site respects the operating-system "reduce motion" preference and limits non-essential animation for visitors who have it enabled.
- Accessible forms. Every form field has a programmatically associated label, required fields are indicated, and error messages identify the field concerned and describe how to fix the problem.
- Responsive text. Content reflows and remains usable when text is resized or the page is zoomed.
Known limitations
We prefer honesty over a claim of perfection. Some content on this site is delivered by third parties — for example, the consultation booking widget and embedded maps — and its accessibility depends partly on those providers. We choose vendors with accessibility support and pass issues on to them when we find them, but we cannot fully control third-party interfaces. If any embedded feature blocks you, contact us by phone or email and we will complete the same task for you directly.
